Seas0nPass is a new jailbreak utility designed specifically for the second generation Apple TV (2010). It's comparable to utilities like PwnageTool. I've used both and I personally find Seas0nPass to make the process much simpler when it comes to the Apple TV. We’ve made available a beta version of Seas0nPass that supports both OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) and the latest 6.2.1 (iOS 7.1.2) Apple TV software on the ATV2. Notes This beta is available for Mac only. This version defaults to 5.3 (untethered) and you can install 6.2.1 (tethered) by right-clicking the Create IPSW button. The 6.2.1 jailbreak is tethered (for now) so please ensure you know what. FireCore quietly released a beta update to Seas0npass, which comes in at version 0.9.7. This update works with OS X El Capitan and Apple TV 2 firmware 6.2.1 (iOS 7.1.2). Interestingly, the crew at FireCore decided to bypass updating their blog, which houses all of their previous jailbreak stuff, and posted an update to their Seas0nPass tool on.
